About this policy
This policy describes how Solef handles information when you use its social discovery, Moments, and messaging features. Solef is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Information you provide
We process your sign-in identity from Apple or Google, any email they share with us, your profile details, birthday, country, interests, photos, messages, voice notes, and reports or support requests you submit.
Service and device information
We process technical information needed to operate and secure Solef, including IP addresses, request logs, notification tokens, account activity, and a device installation credential. Installation credentials can help maintain restrictions across accounts or reinstalls; they are not GPS location data.
How information is used
Information is used to provide profiles and discovery, connect mutually accepting users, deliver messages and notifications, operate Moments, handle reports and appeals, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service.
What other people can see
Profile information and published Moments are visible according to the relevant app features and settings. Messages are delivered to the participants in a conversation. Do not upload another person’s private information without permission. Moment views and reactions follow the app’s friendship and visibility rules.
Moderation and service providers
Public profile content, Moment photos and titles, and relevant non-friend interactions may be reviewed by automated moderation, including a hosted AI provider. The service also uses infrastructure, object-storage, sign-in, notification, and media providers. Private friend conversations are not screened through the public-content AI moderation flow. Reported content may be reviewed by administrators.
Retention and deletion
You can request account deletion in the app. Profile and personal content are removed through the deletion process. Some enforcement records, reports, retained evidence, security records, and backups can remain for their applicable operational or safety purposes. Deleting an account does not remove another person’s reports or erase valid restrictions.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, manage notification permissions, block or report users, and delete your account. Contact support to ask about access, correction, or other privacy requests. Rights and available remedies depend on applicable law.
Security and international processing
We use access controls and encrypted network connections. Information may be processed outside your country by our hosting and service providers. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Updates
We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
